How do I reserve the engine for my event? Please book your event as soon as possible.  Summer weekends are the most popular days. top Is a deposit required? After we have confirmed availability for your event we will send you a liability waiver to be completed and returned with a $100 deposit. The renter is responsible for the care and supervision of the event guests.  We accept cash or check only. top How much do you charge? A typical birthday party is approximately 1 ½ hours. The total fee is $375. The balance is to be paid when the engine arrives at the event. For all other events, call us to discuss options and pricing. top What forms of payment do you accept? At this time we accept cash or check only.  $100 deposit and the remainder due when the fire engine arrives at the event. top What areas do you provide service to? We provide service to most of San Mateo County including South San Francisco, San Bruno, Millbrae, Burlingame, Brisbane, Hillsborough, San Mateo, Belmont, San Carlos, Woodside, Menlo Park, Redwood City, Portola Valley.  If you have an event outside of this area please contact us for rates and availability. top What is your cancellation policy? As a courtesy, we ask that you let us know as soon as possible before the event if you intend to cancel.  The $100 deposit will not be refunded if the event is canceled on the day it is to take place. top What do you require from us for the event? The engine is 28 feet long.  Please ensure that there is ample parking for the engine before the scheduled arrival time.  If you’d like the engine to arrive with lights and siren going, it might be a good idea to warn your neighbors too. top What happens in bad weather? If it rains on your special day, we’d be happy to reschedule your event for no additional charge. top
